paws4vets_TM is a program within the paws4people_TM foundation. This program is specifically designed to facilitate and deliver all paws4people_TM services and programs to veterans, active-duty military and/or active-duty military dependents.

paws4vets_TM primary mission is to train and provide qualified veterans, active-duty military and active-duty military dependents with certified Assistance Dogs custom trained to fit their individual requirements and needs.

This could be a certified Service Dog for a veteran with a physically or psychiatric disability, a Rehabilitative Assistance Dog for a veteran with PTSD, or a certified Service/Educational and Rehabilitative Assistance Dog for an active-duty dependent paraplegic child that would go to school with the child, aid in the physical and occupational therapies of the child, and perform specific tasks such as retrieving items, opening doors, turning on/off lights, etc., for the child.
